The season opened with a bang for the Premier League Women's team.
After consistent corner kicks from the ladies Ash and Liz were able to finish off two scoring headers and Jess put a third one in the goal just before half time.
The second half opened with a goal from Forest Rangers but with solid defence from the girls they weren't able to score another.
The conditions weren't great in the second half (editor: there was a torrential down pour for 15 minutes) but they were able to come away with a first win of the season and well deserved drink at the end of it.
