Who We Are
Dolls Point Football Club (Est. 1977)
Founded in 1977, Dolls Point FC is a proud community-based football club in southern Sydney, based in the Dolls Point and Brighton-Le-Sands area. The club competes in local competitions under the Football St George Association and has been part of grassroots football for five decades.
Wearing our traditional sky blue with touches of red, the club is built on community, development, and inclusivity. We offer pathways from junior teams through to senior men’s and women’s squads.
Playing home matches at local grounds including Memorial Playing Fields, the club continues to grow and succeed, highlighted by recent on-field achievements including a St George Premier League title in 2025.
We cater for players of all abilities — from first timers kicking a ball for the very first time through to competitive age groups. Football matters, but enjoyment, respect, and belonging matter even more.
Our committee members, coaches, and managers are all volunteers. This volunteer spirit is at the heart of our club and keeps community football alive.
Please remember this when interacting with club officials — kindness goes a long way.
How Is the Club Funded?
Our primary source of funding is player registration fees.
We are also grateful for:
- Support from local council and government grants
- The generosity of our club sponsors
This support helps keep fees reasonable while maintaining facilities, equipment, and programs.
Where Does the Money Go?
A significant portion of registration fees goes directly to governing bodies for:
- Player insurance
- Association and competition fees
The remainder is used to cover:
- Ground hire and maintenance.
- Training equipment and match balls
- Playing kits and uniforms
- Referee fees
- Trophies and end-of-season presentations
- General club operations
Every dollar is spent supporting players, teams, and the running of the club.

We offer teams across a wide range of age groups, including:
- Mini Roo’s
- Junior teams
- Youth teams
- Senior & Over 35s teams

For younger age groups, training schedules are often discussed with parents to suit family commitments.

- Home games are at Dolls Point fields.
Mini Roo’s and non-competition teams generally do not play during Easter or school holidays.

Club Merchandise
Supporter gear is available during the season, including:
- Club Jumpers, T-Shirts and Jackets
Perfect for chilly mornings and proud supporters.
Coaches & Managers
Our coaches and managers are volunteers — mostly parents and former players.
- Coaches are encouraged to attend club-supported courses.
- Specialist coaches may assist when required.
- Respect and support for volunteers is essential.
From time to time, the club may engage qualified specialist coaches to support development programs, but the day-to-day running of teams is done by volunteers giving their time for the kids.
Want to help?
We always welcome new coaches and managers. No experience required — just enthusiasm.
How Teams Are Formed
Our guiding principles:
- First in basis
- Existing teams stay together where possible.
- Friends are encouraged to play together (especially younger ages)
- Team balance and fairness across the club
While we try to accommodate requests, preferences cannot always be guaranteed.
Age Groups
Age groups are determined by a player’s age as of 31 December of the current year.
Players may occasionally move age groups for team balance or sibling placement — always discussed with parents first.
Refunds & Deregistration
- Once team sheets are submitted to Football St George (FSG), we’re unable to offer refunds
- This includes registration fees, uniforms, and any other payments made to the club
- If you need to withdraw before team sheets are submitted, you can request a refund
- Each request is looked at individually
- A valid reason for withdrawing will be needed
- Approved refunds may include a small administration fee
Our Community Promise
We may not get everything perfect — but we care, we listen, and we improve every year.
